Man, I’ve always been curious about how much those bare-knuckle fighters make, you know, the ones who go at it without gloves. So, I did some digging into this Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, or BKFC for short. It’s the main stage for this kind of fighting.
First off, I tried to find out the basic pay. Turns out, even the guys at the bottom rung are pulling in about 2,500 per fight. That’s not too shabby, actually. It’s on par with, or sometimes even better than, what you’d see in some smaller MMA outfits.
Then, I got into the nitty-gritty of the big events. Like, there was this one event, KnuckleMania 4, where this dude, Mike Perry, he reportedly made a whopping 600,000. Can you believe that? Six hundred grand for one fight!
- Base Pay: Even the lowest-paid fighters are making around 2,500 per fight.
- Big Events: For major events like KnuckleMania, the top guys can make a ton. Like, Mike Perry reportedly made 600,000 for KnuckleMania 4.
- Contracts: They’re handing out contracts, too. I saw that they gave out six contracts at the BKFC Prospects Series. That’s a pretty big deal for up-and-coming fighters.
- Average Earnings: From what I gathered, the average bare-knuckle fighter can make anywhere from a few thousand to a couple hundred thousand per fight. It all depends on how good they are and how popular they are.
- Top Earners: The big shots in BKFC, they’re raking in somewhere between 500,000 and 1.2 million per fight. That’s a lot, but it’s still less than what the UFC guys are making.
- Pay-Per-View Events: They’ve got these pay-per-view events, too. Like, BKFC 66 is coming up, and it’s going to be at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino. Those events probably bring in some good money for the fighters.
Here’s what I found:
I also tried to get a sense of the average earnings. It’s a wide range, from a few thousand dollars to several hundred thousand per fight. It really depends on the fighter’s experience and skill level, I guess.
Oh, and I found out about the top dogs, the highest earners in BKFC. They’re pulling in around 500,000 to 1.2 million per fight. That’s way less than UFC fighters, but still, it’s a good chunk of change.
Lastly, I looked into these pay-per-view events they do. For instance, they announced BKFC 66, which is gonna be at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. These events are probably where the big bucks are, right?
So, yeah, that’s what I’ve managed to find out about how much these bare-knuckle fighters are making. It’s a wild world out there in the BKFC!
