Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with putters lately, you know, trying to find that magic stick that’ll shave a few strokes off my game. I stumbled upon this thing called a “Circle T” putter – apparently, it’s a pretty big deal in the golfing world. So, I decided to dive in and see what the fuss was all about.
First off, I started digging around online, trying to figure out what makes these Circle T putters so special. Turns out, they’re basically the tour versions of Scotty Cameron putters. And let me tell you, the prices on these things are insane! We’re talking thousands of dollars. I mean, for a putter! It’s crazy.
I read that the “Circle T” stamp means it’s made for the pros, which, you know, adds to the cool factor. And apparently, there are not many differences between these and the regular Scotty Cameron putters you can buy at the store, except for some minor details and the fact that they are much rarer. Most of the putters I saw online were going for anywhere between $1,500 to over $5,000. It’s nuts!
I even found a few for sale online. One was listed for $5,900, another for $5,600, I almost choked on my coffee when I saw those prices. I mean, I love golf, but that’s a bit much for me. They looked pretty, though, I’ll give them that. All shiny and new, with that Circle T stamp that seems to drive up the price.
Anyway, I kept looking around, trying to find a used one, maybe something a little more in my budget. I saw a few that were in decent shape, but even those were still pretty expensive. But, you know, the idea of owning a putter that was made for the tour, that was kind of tempting. I also learned that there are different models, materials and weights like SSS, 350 Grams or 009, and some are worth more than others. I think the 009 model is one of the most expensive ones. It is a newer model or something like that.
So, I decided to check out a few local golf shops. I figured maybe I could see one of these Circle T putters in person, get a feel for it. No luck, though. Nobody had any in stock. I guess they’re pretty rare, and people snap them up as soon as they hit the shelves, but hey, I did get to try out some other Scotty Cameron putters, and they felt pretty nice. But they weren’t Circle Ts, so I didn’t buy any.
In the end, I haven’t pulled the trigger on a Circle T putter yet. I’m still on the fence. I mean, it’s a lot of money for a putter, even if it is a tour model. But hey, maybe one day I’ll win the lottery or something, and then I can finally get my hands on one of these bad boys. Until then, I’ll just keep dreaming, and practicing with my regular putter, trying to get those scores down. You never know, maybe I don’t need a fancy putter to play like a pro after all. Or maybe I do, who knows!
