Okay, so I tried throwing a touch pass in College Football 25. I watched some videos, then started the game. Here’s how it went down.
First, I jumped into a game, picked my team, and started playing. When it was my turn to pass, I remembered what the videos said.
- Select the receiver: I pressed the button for the guy I wanted to throw to.
- Hold the button: I held that button down, just like they showed.
- Watch the meter: There’s this power meter that pops up, and it has a blue area. I had to keep the button held until the meter was in that blue zone.
- Release: Once the meter hit the blue, I let go of the button.
Getting the Hang of It
My first few attempts? Not great. The ball went all over the place. But I kept at it. I practiced a bunch of times in different game situations. Sometimes I held the button too long, other times not long enough. The key seemed to be getting that meter right in the blue.
After a while, I started to get a feel for it. My passes were more accurate, and I could actually complete some plays. It felt pretty good when I finally got it down consistently. It took some practice, but I figured it out eventually.
PC Controls
By the way, I also tried this on my PC. The controls were a bit different. I had to press Space to snap the ball, Space again to hike, and then F when throwing the ball to do a touch pass. Different keys, but the same idea with the power meter.
Quick Pass Playbooks
Oh, and one more thing. I found out that some playbooks have special “Jet Touch Pass” plays. To find these, you go to “Play Type,” then “Pass,” and then “Quick Pass.” There were a few different types there, which was pretty cool. Those plays made it easier to do touch passes. I hope this is helpful!
Overall, it took some trial and error, but I finally got the hang of throwing touch passes in College Football 25. If you’re struggling, just keep practicing, and pay attention to that power meter!
