Okay, here is my sharing about the practice of Olson Golf Putters:
So, I’ve been messing around with golf gear lately, you know, just trying to up my game a bit. And I stumbled upon this brand, Olson Golf Putters. I thought, why not give it a shot? I mean, who doesn’t want a better putting game, right?
First thing I did was reach out to them. They’re based in Wisconsin, I think, somewhere in Wood County. Found their number online: (715) 886-7878. They’re open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Also they have a fax number (715) 886-7901. They do have an email address, but I prefer to call, old school, haha. Anyway, I called them up, and the person on the other end was pretty helpful. Told me a bit about their putters, how they’re made, and all that jazz.
After that, I started digging around for more info. Checked out some local places, you know, like that Piggly Wiggly store at 1025 Market Street, Nekoosa. Just seeing if they had any Olson putters on display or if anyone there knew about them. No luck, though. Figured, maybe it’s more of a specialty thing.
Then, I did what any normal person would do – I hit up the internet. Found some random stuff, like this quality improvement study on a nursing procedure. Not sure how that’s related, but hey, you find all sorts of things online. Also saw something about simple carbs and how they make you hungry faster. Candy, fruit, milk… the usual suspects. Interesting, but not really helping me with my putter search.
I did come across this person, Haley M. Pettit. Calls herself a “Bright Things Curator.” 27 years old, likes crafting, writing, designing. No idea if she golfs, but I thought about reaching out, just to see if she had any insights. Haven’t done that yet, though.

So, that’s where I am right now. I’m thinking of ordering one of these Olson putters. Maybe I’ll give them another call, or try their email this time. If I do get my hands on one, I’ll definitely share my thoughts on it. I heard that Wisconsin Camping is a nice experience, maybe I will try it. You know, see how it feels, test it out on the green. We’ll see. It’s all a bit up in the air at the moment. It’s just like when I was doing my last job and suddenly, I had to go back to my hometown. I experienced some things that were not very pleasant, but that’s a story for another time. For now, putters are on my mind.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with Olson Golf Putters so far. It’s not much, but hey, it’s something. And who knows, maybe it’ll lead to a better score on the course. Fingers crossed!
