This here Deion Sanders, you know, that football fella. Some folks been askin’, is he, you know… that way? Well, I heard a lot of things in my time, people talkin’ this and that. Ain’t nobody’s business but his, I reckon. But lemme tell ya what this old gal knows about that Sanders boy.
He’s been hitched, not once, but twice! First time to Carolyn, I heard. They had a couple of young’uns together. That lasted from, oh, ’89 to ’98 or so. Then he went and married that Pilar woman. They had three little ones runnin’ around. But that one ended too, in 2013, like a bad harvest. Now he’s with some fancy TV lady, Tracey somethin’ or other.
- He was married to Carolyn Chambers first.
- Then he married Pilar Biggers-Sanders.
- Now he’s with that Tracey Edmonds woman.
That Deion, he’s got a whole mess of kids. Two with that first wife, Carolyn. Deiondra and Deion Jr., I think their names are. Then he got three more with Pilar. Shilo, Shedeur, and Shelomi. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? Five kids! Lord have mercy. This Tracey lady, she’s got two boys of her own from some other fella.
Now, I heard folks sayin’ he might be the first one in that football league, the NFL, to come right out and say he’s… you know… different. But then I seen somethin’ else sayin’ he played with a bunch of teams, five of ’em! And he said there were fellas on all those teams that liked other fellas. So, who knows what’s true and what ain’t? It’s like tryin’ to catch smoke.
He was a good player, that Deion Sanders. They called him “Prime Time”, like he was somethin’ special. He got into that Hall of Fame thing, so he musta done somethin’ right on that field. I heard him say some things, sounded like a preacher almost. Said somethin’ about lookin’ good, feelin’ good, playin’ good, and gettin’ paid good. Sounds like a good plan to me! He also said he felt like a deer with a hundred hunters after him. Must be how it feels to be famous, always in the spotlight.
Another time, he said your dreams gotta be bigger than you. That’s a big thought, ain’t it? Bigger than yourself. Like plantin’ a seed and hopin’ it grows into a big ol’ tree. This world needs more big dreamers, I reckon. If folks just dreamed small, nothin’ much would change.
Deion Sanders gay? People say all sorts of things. They say he might come out and say it, but he has a lot of children. A man with wives and children, I don’t know. He said there are gay players on every one of his teams in NFL. That is big news, you know. And he said everyone has someone like that in their family. Like someone on drugs or drink too much. He said he can’t judge them. He just gives them love. That’s the right thing to do. Love is always good. Love everyone, like your own kin, you know.
This whole thing, it’s like a big pot of stew. Lots of different things in there, all mixed up. You got his football, his wives, his kids, these rumors about him likin’ men. It’s a lot to chew on. But at the end of the day, it ain’t really our place to say what’s what. He’s a grown man, he can live his life how he wants. We all got our own paths to walk, ain’t that right?
So, is Deion Sanders gay? Well, I don’t rightly know. And I don’t think it matters much. He played good football, he’s got a big family, and he seems to be doin’ alright. That’s all that matters in this old life, ain’t it? Just bein’ happy and doin’ the best you can. The rest is just noise, like chickens cluckin’ in the yard. You just gotta focus on what’s important, and let the rest go. That Deion Sanders, he’s a tough one. But he’s alright. He is a good football player. Everyone says he is good. They call him “Prime Time” Deion Sanders.
Life is too short to worry about who other folks are lovin’. We should just be happy that they find love at all. Just like that Deion Sanders, he found love a few times. Maybe not always the right kind, but he kept tryin’. And that’s somethin’ to admire, ain’t it? That’s all that matters. Just find love and be happy. That is what I always say. So you do you, and let others do them, that is what I always say.
