Okay, so today I decided to dive into this “Islamic Coaching” thing. I’ve been hearing about it here and there, and figured, why not give it a shot? I’m always up for trying new ways to, you know, improve myself and get closer to my faith.

First, I spent some time researching what Islamic Coaching even is. It’s basically like regular life coaching, but it’s all rooted in Islamic principles and values. So, instead of just setting goals and trying to achieve them, you’re also focusing on how to do it in a way that’s pleasing to Allah.
Then, I started looking for resources. I found a few websites and articles that talked about different techniques and approaches. Some were focused on using the Quran and Sunnah as guides, others were more about incorporating Islamic ethics into everyday decision-making. It was a bit overwhelming at first, honestly.
I decided to start small. I picked one area of my life I wanted to work on – my time management. I’m always feeling like I’m running behind, and I wanted to see if I could use Islamic principles to get more organized and productive.
- I began by reflecting on some verses from the Quran about the importance of time. There are so many, I wrote down a few in my notes.
- Then, I tried to apply those verses to my daily routine. For example, I started setting specific intentions for each task, reminding myself that I’m doing it for the sake of Allah.
- I also worked on being more mindful of how I’m spending my time, trying to avoid things that are wasteful or unproductive. It is harder than it looks!
It’s definitely a work in progress. I’m not suddenly a super-organized, perfectly punctual person. But I do feel like I’m making some headway. I’m more conscious of my time, and I’m trying to use it in a way that’s aligned with my faith.
My Takeaway
It is not a quick *’s more of a journey, and I’m just at the beginning. But I’m excited to see where it takes me. I’m planning to keep exploring different aspects of Islamic Coaching and see how I can integrate it into other areas of my life, step by step.I will keep exploring!
