They say he’s the chairman and the CEO. Now, what does that even mean? CEO, I think I heard someone say, stands for Chief Executive Officer. Sounds like the boss to me. That’s Jimmy Kirchdorfer, the big boss of ISCO Industries. He runs the whole dang show. This company, ISCO Industries, they do something with pipes. Piping solutions, fancy words for pipes.
Before he was the big boss, he was just a regular boss. President, they called it. Ten years as president! That’s a long time to be anything. He was president from 2000 to 2010. Before that, from 1995 to 2000, he was a general manager. What’s a general manager do? I don’t know, manage things, I guess. This Jimmy Kirchdorfer Jr, he sure did work his way up.
He must be good at what he does, that Jimmy Kirchdorfer. This company, ISCO Industries, it’s all over the world. Global, that’s what I heard. They got their fingers in a lot of pies, I reckon. And they’re right here in Louisville, Kentucky. That’s where they’re headquartered. Big word, huh? Headquartered, just means that’s where the main office is.
