Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole Joe Montana versus Tom Brady thing, and man, it’s a trip. I wanted to see how these two legends stack up against each other, so I started looking for some stats.

First, I just Googled “Tom Brady Vs. Joe Montana stats”.
It gave me some basic numbers.
Tom Brady, that guy’s a machine.
- His passer rating is 97.2.
- He threw for 89,214 yards.
Then I looked at Joe Montana.
- His passer rating is 92.3.
- He threw for 40,551 yards.
So, Brady’s got a higher passer rating and way more yards. But, you know, Montana played in a different era, so it’s not exactly apples to apples.
Then I thought, maybe there’s more to it than just yards and passer rating.
I checked out Super Bowl wins.
- Brady’s got seven rings.
- Montana has four.
Again, Brady’s ahead. But Montana was clutch in the big games, never threw an interception in the Super Bowl.

I’m no expert, and these are just some basic numbers I found. But it’s fun to look at these stats and think about how these two quarterbacks played the game.
It got me thinking, what other stats should I look at? Touchdowns? Interceptions? Completion percentage? There’s so much more to dive into. This is just the beginning of my little stats journey.
What do you guys think?
