So, I came across this little thing today called “make notched as a knife crossword”. Sounds weird, right? I thought so too. But, you know, I’m always up for a challenge and love to share what I learned, so I decided to dive into it.
First, I tried to figure out what this whole “make notched as a knife” thing even meant. I searched around, and it turns out it’s a crossword clue. Yeah, a clue for a crossword puzzle. I found some websites that had answers to this clue. They listed a whole bunch of words, like 30 of them.
Here’s how I got into it:
- I started by just looking up the clue itself. That led me to some crossword solver sites.
- Then, I tried looking up “make notches”, which is apparently another way to say it. That gave me even more answers, like 40!
- I even found a guide on how to make your own crossword puzzle, which was pretty interesting. Not related to the “notched knife” thing, but still cool.
The answers were all over the place. Some sites said the answer was a 2-letter word, others said it was a 17-letter word. I saw a website where it mentioned the clue was seen on “The Sun Mini” on October 5, 2021. There were lots of words I’ve never even heard of. It was kind of a mess, to be honest.
Trying to solve it
I decided to try to solve the clue myself. I mean, how hard could it be, right? Wrong! I spent a good chunk of time trying to fit different words into a crossword grid. It was harder than I thought. I looked at other clues like “make sharper” and so on to help me, but the answer depends on how it fits with the other words in the puzzle. A real headache!
Finally got it!
After a while, I finally got it! I found a word that fit the clue and the other words in the puzzle I was looking at. I won’t tell you the word, that would ruin the fun for you, right? But I’ll just say, it wasn’t easy to find. And to think, all this started because I was curious about “make notched as a knife”. Who knew it would be such a journey?
So there you have it. My little adventure into the world of crossword clues. It was a fun little puzzle to solve, and I learned a bit more about how these things work. Maybe next time I see a weird crossword clue, I’ll give it another go. Who knows what other rabbit holes I’ll fall into?
