Trying to solve it
I decided to try to solve the clue myself. I mean, how hard could it be, right? Wrong! I spent a good chunk of time trying to fit different words into a crossword grid. It was harder than I thought. I looked at other clues like “make sharper” and so on to help me, but the answer depends on how it fits with the other words in the puzzle. A real headache!

After a while, I finally got it! I found a word that fit the clue and the other words in the puzzle I was looking at. I won’t tell you the word, that would ruin the fun for you, right? But I’ll just say, it wasn’t easy to find. And to think, all this started because I was curious about “make notched as a knife”. Who knew it would be such a journey?
So there you have it. My little adventure into the world of crossword clues. It was a fun little puzzle to solve, and I learned a bit more about how these things work. Maybe next time I see a weird crossword clue, I’ll give it another go. Who knows what other rabbit holes I’ll fall into?
