Okay, so today I wanted to try something new, and I got into this thing called the “little bit nyt crossword.” I’d heard some people talking about it, and it sounded kinda fun, plus I like word games. So, I gave it a shot.
Getting Started
First off, I had to figure out what this whole mini crossword thing was all about. I did a little bit of digging and found out that it’s supposed to be a quick and easy puzzle. People usually finish it in like, two to five minutes. Sounds perfect, right? A little brain teaser without taking up too much time.
Then I learned that the difficulty level changes throughout the week. I mean, I didn’t know this at first, but apparently, Mondays are the easiest, and Saturdays are the hardest. Sundays are somewhere in the middle. Interesting, huh? I decided to start on a Monday, just to ease myself into it.
Diving In
So, I started working on the puzzle. The clues on Monday were pretty straightforward, just like what I read. I was feeling good, breezing through it. It felt good to use my brain a little, you know?
- First few clues? No problem. I was knocking them out like a pro.
- Got a little stuck? Sure, a couple of times. But I just kept at it, and eventually, I figured them out.
I think Will Shortz said it best: “Solving crosswords eliminates worries. They make you a calmer and more focused person.” I totally felt that. It was like a mini-meditation session or something.
Wrapping Up
I finished the Monday puzzle, and you know what? It was pretty satisfying. I felt a sense of accomplishment, even though it was a small thing. I decided to keep going and try the Tuesday puzzle. The clues got a bit trickier, but I was ready for the challenge. Knowing that the difficulty ramps up during the week actually helped me solve some of the clues.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the “little bit nyt crossword.” It’s a fun little thing to do, and I think I’m gonna keep doing it. Maybe I’ll even make it to Saturday someday. Who knows? It’s all about having fun and keeping the mind sharp, right?
