Okay, so I’ve been meaning to organize my sports card collection for, like, ever. And I figured, might as well start somewhere, right? So I picked Jimmy Garoppolo football cards as my project for the day.

Getting Started
First things first, I gathered all my cards. This took a while, honestly. I had them stashed in various boxes, binders, and even some random drawers. It was a mess!
Once I had them all in one place, I laid them out on my dining room table. That’s when I really saw the scope of what I was dealing with. I had way more Jimmy G cards than I thought!
The Sorting Process
- I started by separating the cards by year. This seemed like the most logical way to begin.
- Then, within each year, I grouped them by card manufacturer (you know, Topps, Panini, Donruss, all those guys).
- After that, I looked for any special cards – rookies, inserts, autographs, you name it. Those I set aside in a separate pile.
Organizing and Storage
I decided to use a combination of top loaders and card sleeves. I use topload and card sleeves to keep cards in good condition.
For the really valuable cards, I put them in those hard plastic cases – you know, the ones that screw shut. Gotta keep those safe! After protecting cards, then put the protected cards in the card box.
Final Thoughts
It took most of the day, but I finally got all my Jimmy Garoppolo cards organized. It feels good to have that done! It’s way easier to find what I’m looking for now, and I know they’re all protected. Next up… maybe I’ll tackle my Tom Brady cards. Or maybe not. That’s gonna be a HUGE project!
