Okay, so I’ve been meaning to share this little project I’ve been tinkering with – it’s about this guy, Luke Steiner. Now, I hadn’t heard of him before, didn’t know him from Adam, but I stumbled upon some stuff about him online, and it got me curious.
I started digging around, right? First thing I did was try to get a handle on who this Luke Steiner character is. Turns out, there are a bunch of them. One’s connected to some baseball movie called “You Gotta Believe,” featuring a Luke Wilson, but that didn’t seem like my guy. Another one’s got a profile on that professional networking site, talking about using his strengths to coach teams and deliver software in Fort Wayne, Indiana. That sounded a bit more promising.
Then I found another Luke Steiner, this one in Puyallup, Washington, working at some aerospace company. He went to WGU Washington, whatever that is. His profile had a couple hundred connections. Still not sure if this was the right guy, I kept at it.
My next step was to zero in on the most likely Luke Steiner. The software coaching one in Fort Wayne seemed like the best bet. I mean, who wouldn’t want to talk about coaching and delivering software? Sounds exciting, right?
I tried to piece together his story. I figured if I could find his birth date, I could get a better sense of his timeline. So, I went back to that professional profile and those other snippets I found. Sadly, no birth date. But I did learn that he is living in Avon, Ohio, and went to Ohio University and his profile had five hundred connections, this one seems the right guy.
- Dug up info on various Luke Steiners.
- Narrowed it down to the one in Fort Wayne (and maybe Puyallup later).
- Tried to find his birth date to build a timeline.
- No luck on the birth date, but found out he works at some software company called Hyland and went to Ohio University.
This is where I am so far. I’m still trying to paint a complete picture of this Luke Steiner. Next, I’ll probably try to find out more about his work at Hyland and what he studied at Ohio University. Maybe I’ll even try to reach out to him directly, who knows? It’s been a fun little investigation, and I’m excited to see where it leads.
