Okay, so last night was Monday, and you know what that means – Monday Night Raw! I’ve been trying to get back into wrestling, and figured watching it live is the best way to do it. No spoilers, just pure, unadulterated wrestling action.
First thing I did was set myself up. This wasn’t going to be some half-hearted viewing. I got my snacks ready – a big bowl of popcorn, some soda. The essentials. I even put on my old, slightly-too-tight wrestling t-shirt. Gotta get in the mood, right?
Getting Ready
- Checked my watch.
- Turned off my phone.
- Got the TV remote ready.
- Double checked the start time.
Then, I started watching the show live. I spent the first hour figuring out which channel it was on. Then I found a few channels on TV. I picked one, and boom – there it was. The familiar Raw intro music hit, and I was instantly hyped.
The matches were pretty good. I mean, there were some that were a little slow, some that were crazy, but it was all part of the experience. I yelled at the TV a few times, even though I know they can’t hear me. It’s just part of the fun! I cheered for the good guys, booed the bad guys, the whole nine yards.
And, of course, there were some moments that had me jumping out of my seat. A surprise return, a crazy high-flying move… it’s those moments that make watching live so much better than catching the highlights later.
By the end of the night, I was exhausted, but in a good way. My voice was a little hoarse from yelling, my hands were a little sore from clapping, but it was totally worth it. I felt like I was part of the crowd, part of the action, even though I was just sitting on my couch. I am very satisfied!
I’ve definitely rekindled my love for wrestling. Next Monday, I’m doing it all again!
