Okay, here’s my take on sharing my “naked pokemon serena” practice session, just like you asked, raw and real.

Alright, so, “naked pokemon serena,” right? Sounds kinda sus, but it’s all about practice, ya know? Gotta hone those skills somehow. So, first thing I did was a Google Image search, just to get a feel for what I was working with. Gotta see the source material, right?
Next up, I hopped onto my drawing tablet. I use a Wacom, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I started with a really rough sketch, just basic shapes and lines to get the pose down. This part’s always messy, but it’s important to get the foundation right.
Then came the hard part: the body. I’m still working on anatomy, so I spent a good chunk of time trying to get the proportions right. I used a bunch of references for that, not just Serena, but other female figures too. Gotta make it look believable, even if it’s… well, you know.
- First, I sketched the basic skeleton.
- Then, I added the muscle mass.
- After that, I refined the outlines to make it look smooth.
After the body, I moved on to the face. This is where it gets tricky. Serena’s got a distinct look, so I had to pay attention to the details: the eyes, the mouth, the shape of her face. I spent a lot of time tweaking things until it looked right.
Once I was happy with the line art, I started coloring. I used Clip Studio Paint for this. I started with the skin tones, then moved on to the hair and eyes. I kept the colors pretty simple, nothing too fancy. I’m still learning about shading and highlights, so I didn’t want to overdo it.
Details and Refinements
After the main colors were in, I started adding details. I cleaned up the lines, added some subtle shading, and touched up the highlights. I also added a background, just a simple gradient to make the figure pop. I was going to try to do more, but I was already tired of looking at it.
Finally, I saved the image and called it a day. It’s not perfect, but I learned a lot. And that’s what matters, right? Just gotta keep practicing and eventually I’ll get better. It was a fun exercise in anatomy and face drawing. I’ll probably try some new characters in the future.
