This game they playin’, it ain’t part of their regular, whatchamacallit, conference thing. It’s some other kind of game, but still a big deal. Folks are sayin’ Creighton baseball got a good chance to win. They got some numbers, 46 and 16, somethin’ about RPI. Sounds like a radio station to me. They also talking ’bout Quad-1 and Quad-2, sounds like some kind of tractors or somethin’. I don’t know much ’bout that stuff, but it sounds important to them baseball folks.

Now, that Nebraska team, they got a lot of championships. They got somethin’ called regular season championships, they won eight of ’em. And then they got these other championships, five of them. They call it “tournament championships.” Sounds like a whole lotta playin’ to me. But you know, boys and their baseball. They love it.

It’s gonna be a good game, I reckon. Everyone’s talkin’ ’bout it. I might even listen to it on the radio. If I can figure out what station it’s on. Maybe that RPI 16 or 46. Who knows. These young folks and their fancy numbers. But hey, as long as them boys are havin’ fun playin’ their baseball, that’s all that matters.
