Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my fantasy football lineup, and I’ve got a real head-scratcher: Jared Goff or Justin Fields?

I started by looking at their recent games. I pulled up their stats on my phone – you know, touchdowns, interceptions, rushing yards, the whole nine yards. I spent a good hour just staring at the numbers, going back and forth.
First, I dug into Goff. He’s been pretty solid, you know, consistent. He’s not gonna blow you away with crazy runs, but he’s been putting up decent passing yards and a few touchdowns here and there. I checked his matchups for the next few weeks, seeing who he’s playing against. Some teams are tougher on quarterbacks than others, so that’s a big factor.
My Goff Notes:
- Consistent passing yards.
- Not many interceptions lately. Good sign!
- Upcoming matchup is… okay. Not great, not terrible.
Then, I switched gears and looked at Fields. Now, he’s the wildcard. He can have a monster game with his rushing ability, but he can also throw a couple of picks and leave you with a low score. It’s a gamble! I reviewed his last few games, and it was a rollercoaster. One game he’s got like 100 rushing yards and two touchdowns, the next he’s throwing interceptions and getting sacked a bunch.
My Fields Notes:
- Huge rushing upside! That’s tempting.
- But also, lots of turnovers in some games. Scary.
- His matchup is tough. Playing against a really good defense.
I weighed the pros and cons. Goff is the safer bet, the steady hand. Fields is the boom-or-bust guy. I paced around my living room, muttering to myself. “Do I play it safe? Or do I go for the big potential points?”
Finally,I make a decision. I am taking the risk and starting Justin field. I am going by guts.
