Figuring Out the Nicholls Baseball Game Situation Today
Alright, so I woke up this morning, sun’s kinda shining, and the thought popped into my head: “Is Nicholls playing baseball today?” Felt like a good day for a game, you know? The kind where you can just sit back, maybe grab a hot dog.

First thing I did, naturally, was grab my phone. Didn’t feel like digging through a bunch of different sports apps right away. Too much clutter sometimes. I just opened up my web browser, plain and simple.
Typed in something like “Nicholls baseball schedule” or maybe it was “Nicholls Colonels baseball game today”. You know how it is, just trying different things to see what sticks. Got a bunch of results, typical stuff. Some sports news sites, some general schedule pages.
I usually try to find the official athletics site. Seems like the most reliable place, right? Less chance of getting old info. So, I clicked around until I landed on what looked like the Colonels’ official athletics page. Found the baseball section.
Looking for the Actual Schedule
Okay, here’s where you gotta pay attention. Sometimes these sites bury the schedule, or it’s a PDF, or whatever. This time it wasn’t too bad. Found a link pretty quick that said “Schedule” or “Full Schedule”. Clicked on that.
Then I just scrolled down, looking for today’s date. Took a second to find it. You know how those lists can be. Finally spotted it.
- Checked the date. Yep, matched today.
- Looked for the opponent. Saw who they were playing against.
- Checked the time. Important detail, obviously.
- Looked to see if it was home or away. Makes a big difference in whether I’m actually gonna go.
Turns out, there was a game listed for today. It was an away game, though. Bit of a bummer, was kinda hoping for a home game vibe. But hey, at least I knew what was up.
So, no trip to the ballpark for me today. Maybe I’ll check the score later online or see if I can find a radio broadcast or something. Still got that baseball itch, but guess I’ll have to scratch it from the couch this time. Good to know the process works, though. Just a bit of searching, find the official source, check the details. Done.
