Okay, so, I saw this claw clip hairstyle on Paige Lorenze’s vlog the other day, and I just had to try it out. It looked so chic and effortless, you know? And guess what? It’s actually super easy to do!
First things first, I gathered my supplies. Obviously, I needed a claw clip. I opted for a medium-sized, rounded one because I have long hair, it’s easier for me. I also grabbed a brush and some hairspray, just in case. You never know, right?
I started by brushing my hair to get rid of any tangles. Then, I gathered all my hair at the back of my head, like I was going to make a low ponytail. But instead of tying it up, I twisted it upwards. That’s where the magic happens.
- Twist your hair until it starts to coil on itself.
- Keep twisting until you reach the ends of your hair.
- Fold the twisted hair upwards against your head.
Then, I secured the twisted hair with the claw clip. I made sure the clip grabbed both the twisted part and some of the loose hair underneath to keep it all in place. And that’s it! I gave it a little spritz of hairspray for good measure, although I skipped it, and I was good to go.
Honestly, it took me like two minutes to do this hairstyle. And it looked so cute! I wore it all day, and it held up pretty well, even though I was running around doing errands. I even got some compliments on it! Some people asked me if I copied Paige’s hairstyle. Hahaha.
I’m definitely going to be doing this hairstyle again. It’s perfect for those days when you want to look put together but don’t have a lot of time. Plus, it’s way better for your hair than those tight elastic bands that cause breakage. I saw that somewhere online, not sure if it is a rumor. Anyway, you should totally try this out and let me know how it goes!
Oh, and I almost forgot! I saw on kovessentials’s Instagram a post with over 400 likes, and many people were talking about Paige and her hairstyles. It seems like she’s really a trendsetter! Even Cosmo’s editors recommend those claw clips. Crazy, right? Okay, I’m done now. Bye!
