Alright, so the other day I was messing around with osu!, you know, that rhythm game where you click circles and stuff? I saw this beatmap called “come after me i’m a man” and I thought, “Hey, why not give it a shot?”
First, I launched the game. Pretty basic, right? Just double-clicked the icon and waited for it to load up. Then I went to the beatmap selection screen. You know, the place where all the songs are listed? I typed in “come after me” in the search bar, and bam, there it was.
I clicked on the beatmap and selected the difficulty I wanted. I’m not a pro or anything, so I usually stick to the easier ones. Don’t judge, haha! I checked out how long it will take me to pass. I was shocked!
- The map starts, and the circles start popping up.
- I tried to click them in time with the music, but man, it was tough!
- My fingers were flying across the keyboard, and my eyes were glued to the screen.
- I messed up, a bunch.
Getting the Groove
After a few tries, I started to get the hang of it. I figured out the patterns, and my timing got a little better. Still not perfect, but hey, I was improving! I realized I need more practice to be honest. This game is kinda fun.
I played the beatmap a few more times, and I could feel myself getting better. My score went up, and I missed fewer circles. It felt awesome! It was like my fingers finally understood what they were supposed to do.
So yeah, that’s my little osu! adventure. It was frustrating at first, but I stuck with it, and it ended up being pretty fun. Maybe I’ll try some harder beatmaps next time. Or maybe not. We’ll see!
