My Little Investigation
First, I spent a good chunk of time just browsing golf forums and websites. I figured that’s where the real golf nerds hang out, and they’d have the inside scoop. I was right, kinda. I found a lot of scattered info, but nothing really concrete.
Then, I decided to watch a bunch of recent tournaments. You know, really focused on the putting. I grabbed a notepad and started jotting down every putter I could identify. It was tough! Sometimes the camera angles weren’t great, or the commentators wouldn’t mention the specific model.
- Scotty Cameron: Seemed like a popular choice. I saw a few different models, but a lot of the top guys were rocking these.
- Odyssey: Another big one. I noticed a mix of their classic blade styles and some of the newer, more funky-looking mallets.
