Okay, so the other day I was digging through some old boxes in my attic, and guess what I stumbled upon? My old collection of basketball cards! It totally brought back memories, and of course, the first thing I did was look for my Shaq cards. I mean, who didn’t love Shaq back in the day?
So, I started by carefully going through each box. It was like a trip down memory lane, seeing all those familiar faces from the 90s. I was getting a little worried I’d lost them, to be honest.
Then, there it was! A whole stack of cards, and right on top, a shiny Shaq rookie card. Man, I remember pulling that card from a pack when I was a kid. I was so pumped!
My Shaq Card Finds
- I found a couple of his Orlando Magic cards. You know, the classic pinstripe jersey ones? Classic!
- Then there were a few from his Lakers days. Those purple and gold ones are iconic.
- I even unearthed a couple from his time with the Heat. I’d totally forgotten about those!
I spent the next hour just looking through them, remembering all those amazing games. The dunks, the blocks, the personality… Shaq was just larger than life.
After reminiscing, I carefully placed each card into protective sleeves. Gotta keep those bad boys in good condition, right? They might not be worth a fortune, but the sentimental value is huge.
It was a fun little project, and it made me think about getting back into collecting. Maybe I’ll start looking for some of the newer players. Who knows? But for now, I’m just happy to have rediscovered my old Shaq cards. They’re a reminder of a great era in basketball.
