Okay, so, today I decided to get a new tattoo. I’ve been a huge fan of Rhea Ripley for a while now, and I’ve always admired her ink. She’s got this whole badass, gothic vibe going on, and her tattoos really add to that. I thought, “Why not?” It was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment thing, but I’m all about living in the moment, you know?
First things first, I had to find a decent tattoo artist. I didn’t want to just walk into any random shop. I did a bit of digging online, looked at some portfolios, read a bunch of reviews. Eventually, I stumbled upon this one artist whose style seemed like a perfect match. They had done some really cool dark, detailed pieces that reminded me of Rhea’s style. I decided to give them a call and booked a consultation.
When I got to the shop, the vibe was exactly what I was looking for. Dim lighting, cool artwork on the walls, and a friendly but professional atmosphere. I met with the artist, and we chatted about what I wanted. I showed them some pictures of Rhea’s tattoos, and we discussed how to create something unique but still in that same vein. They were super knowledgeable and had some great ideas. We spent about an hour just brainstorming and sketching things out.
After the consultation, I was feeling pretty pumped. I booked the actual tattoo appointment for the following week. During that week, I kept looking at Rhea’s photos, just getting more and more excited. I also made sure to take care of my skin, keeping it moisturized and healthy. I wanted to be all prepped for the big day.
- The day of the appointment finally arrived. I was a mix of nerves and excitement.
- Got to the shop, and the artist had the design all laid out. It was even better than I had imagined.
- We made a few tiny tweaks, and then it was time to get started.
The artist got everything set up, sterilized the equipment, all that good stuff. Then, they started on the outline. It stung a bit, but it wasn’t unbearable. I just focused on my breathing and tried to relax. After the outline was done, they moved on to the shading. This part took the longest, but it was also the most mesmerizing to watch. Seeing the tattoo come to life, bit by bit, was incredible.
The Result
Finally, after about three hours, it was finished. I looked in the mirror, and wow, I was blown away. It turned out even better than I had hoped. The detail was insane, and it had that same dark, edgy feel that Rhea’s tattoos have. I thanked the artist about a million times. They gave me some aftercare instructions, which I followed to the letter. I mean, you gotta take care of your ink, right?
It’s been a few weeks now, and the tattoo has healed up beautifully. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. It’s not just a tattoo; it’s like a piece of art that I get to carry around with me. Every time I look at it, it reminds me to be bold and embrace my own style. Plus, it’s a cool nod to one of my favorite wrestlers. What else could be asked for? This was for sure an awesome experience. I am so happy with my new ink!
