Okay, so I’ve been wanting a Nike Jon Jones shirt for a while. I’m a big fan of the guy, and I just dig that whole “Bones” aesthetic. I figured it couldn’t be that hard to find, right? Wrong.
I started by, you know, just Googling it. “Nike Jon Jones shirt”. Figured the official Nike site would have it, or maybe some big sports retailers. I got some hits, but most of it was old stuff, out of stock, or just not what I was looking for. A lot of generic training shirts, but I wanted something specifically Jon Jones branded.
Then I hit up the usual suspects – the big online stores. Browsed through their “UFC” sections, their “men’s training” sections… nothing. Lots of other fighter gear, but no Bones. Starting to get a little frustrated, I’ll admit.
Next, I dove into some forums. MMA forums, Reddit threads, anything I could find where people might be talking about this kind of thing. I figured someone, somewhere, must have bought one of these shirts recently. I found some old posts, some dead links, and a lot of people saying they were also looking for one!
I even tried some of those smaller, independent sports apparel sites. You know, the ones that sometimes have those hidden gems? Still no luck. It was like these shirts had vanished from the face of the earth.
Finally after all that searching and digging, I got something, I think is a good shirt. It may not what I was looking for at the begining, but at last. I am happy.
