Alright, so I wanted to figure out this whole trade request thing in MLB The Show 24. I’ve been playing the series for a while, and I remember back in the day, you could kinda nudge your agent and be like, “Hey, I’m not feeling this team, get me outta here!”
So, I started digging around. I jumped into my Road to the Show career, played a few games, and started looking through all the menus. I checked my player profile, the interactions with my agent, everything. I even went into the general game settings, just in case it was hidden somewhere weird.

But, nothing, not even a tiny little hint of a trade request option, that made me kinda dispointed.
Then I did what anyone would do – fired up Google. Turns out, I wasn’t the only one wondering. I found a few articles and forum posts saying the same thing: the option to directly request a trade is just gone in MLB The Show 24.
My Conclusion
It looks like, for now, you’re stuck with whatever team drafts you or signs you, at least until your contract is up or they decide to trade you on their own, which is totally no a funny experience. Maybe they’ll add it back in a future update, fingers crossed!
