Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Svitolina girl, the tennis player. I saw her on TV the other day, hittin’ that ball like she’s whackin’ moles in the garden. Real strong, that one.
Now, they say she had a baby, a little tyke. Can you believe it? And then, boom, she’s back on the court, runnin’ around like a young chicken. I tell ya, havin’ a baby ain’t easy. My daughter-in-law, she had one, and let me tell you, she wasn’t jumpin’ around hittin’ no balls for a good long while. This Svitolina, she’s somethin’ else, tough as nails, I reckon.
This girl, Svitolina, she’s got goals, they say. Still wants to win stuff, even after havin’ that baby. Good for her, I say. You gotta have somethin’ to aim for, or you’ll just be wanderin’ around like a lost sheep. Reminds me of my old man, always sayin’ he wanted to grow the biggest pumpkin in the county. Never did, but he kept tryin’.
They gave her some kinda award, “Comeback of the Year” or somethin’ like that. Well, I guess so! Comin’ back after havin’ a baby, that’s a comeback if I ever heard one. It ain’t like she just had a cold, you know? She probably had to change a whole lotta diapers and get no sleep. I remember those days. Lord have mercy.

- She had a baby.
- And then came back to playing.
- That’s pretty amazing, if you ask me.
- She wins awards.
- She still wants to win more. That’s the spirit!
Now, I don’t know nothin’ ’bout this “WTA Tour” they talk about. Sounds fancy. All I know is that this girl works hard. You can see it in her eyes, the way she chases that ball. Reminds me of my old dog, Buster, chasin’ squirrels. He never gave up, and neither does this Svitolina.
They say she don’t know how much longer she’ll play. Well, that’s life, ain’t it? You can’t do nothin’ forever. Even the best machines break down eventually. But as long as she’s got that fire in her belly, she’ll keep goin’. That’s what matters.
Svitolina’s tennis game is somethin’ to watch, that’s for sure. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but even I can see she’s got talent. She hits that ball hard and she moves fast. And she’s got that look in her eye, like she ain’t afraid of nothin’. That’s the kind of person you wanna root for, you know?
I hope she wins all them tournaments she wants to win. And I hope she enjoys playin’ tennis as long as she can. It ain’t easy bein’ a mama and a tennis player, I bet. But she seems to be doin’ a pretty good job of it. More power to her, I say. She’s a good egg, that Svitolina.
So yeah, that’s what I think about this Svitolina girl. She’s tough, she’s talented, and she ain’t afraid of workin’ hard. And she came back to play tennis after having a baby. That’s pretty darn impressive, if you ask me. I’ll be watchin’ her on TV, cheerin’ her on. Go get ‘em, Svitolina!
She’s a real inspiration. Makes me wanna go out and chase some squirrels myself, just like old Buster. Maybe not, though. My knees ain’t what they used to be. But I can still cheer for Svitolina, and that’s what I’ll do.
