Well, I tell ya, that CM Punk, he’s somethin’ else. He went away from that WWE wrasslin’ for a spell, and then, bam! He’s back. Like a bad penny, that one, always turnin’ up.
I heard it from my neighbor, he was watchin’ that SmackDown thing on the TV the other Friday. Said CM Punk just showed up, like he owned the place. Caused a whole ruckus, I bet. He always was a troublemaker, that one.
- He’s back in WWE.
- Showed up on SmackDown.
- Always causin’ trouble.
Then I seen somethin’ else, some paper sayin’ he said it all happened real quick. This CM Punk returnin’ to WWE, it was all last minute at that Survivor Series thing. Like he just woke up one mornin’ and said, “Welp, guess I’ll go back to wrasslin’.” He was on some show, talkin’ about it, some preview thing for 2024. Land sakes, 2024! Where does the time go?
But now they sayin’ he’s hurt. CM Punk injury, they call it. Torn somethin’ or other in his arm. That Drew fella, the one always lookin’ mad, he’s probably happy about it. They don’t like each other, those two. CM Punk and that Drew, always at each other’s throats. They had a match, they called it a fatal four-way. Sounds dangerous, don’t it? With someone they called Big. That’s just what this old lady heard.

This ain’t the first time he’s torn that thing, neither. They say it’s his second time. Torn triceps, is what the fancy folks call it. Sounds painful. But it makes for a good story, I guess. CM Punk and this Drew fella, they got a real feud goin’ now. He might be back in July or August, they say. He’s workin’ hard to get better, I reckon. Gotta give him that, he’s a hard worker, that CM Punk.
And wouldn’t ya know it, he was supposed to be at that big WrestleMania thing. Big show, lots of folks watchin’. But he had to get surgery, on account of that torn thing. So he missed WrestleMania and a bunch of other shows. Poor fella. But that’s wrasslin’ for ya. One day you’re on top of the world, the next you’re laid up with a busted arm.

Now, I hear tell WWE is sayin’ CM Punk will be back for that Holiday tour. They got this tour every year, you know. Always go to that big place in New York City, Madison Square Garden. Fancy place. So, CM Punk returning there, I guess. It’s a tradition. They always do the same thing. But that’s a long way off. Christmas time. He’s got plenty of time to heal up that arm.
That CM Punk, he’s a tough one. He’ll be back, causin’ trouble again before you know it. Just you wait and see. He may be gettin’ up there in age, but he’s still got some fight left in him. That’s what these young folks like about him. He’s a rebel, a firecracker. Never a dull moment when he’s around. Always keepin’ things interestin’ in that WWE, that’s for sure. Just hope he don’t hurt himself again. That torn triceps sounds mighty painful, and once is enough, let alone twice.
I remember when he first started out, years ago. Nobody thought he’d amount to much. Too small, they said. Too mouthy. But he showed them. Worked his way up to the top. Became a big star. Then he left, and everyone thought that was the end of it. But no sir, here he is, CM Punk returning, like a bad dream. I’ll keep watchin’ from my livin’ room, that’s for sure. It’s better than them soap operas, that’s for sure. That’s all.
