They say he’s got this son, tall fella, wants to play basketball, not football. And he’s got some other young’uns too. He was married to a fancy lady, but they ain’t together no more. He’s single now, last I heard. Heard he’s got a new job talkin’ ‘bout football on the TV. Big money job, too. Millions, they say. Imagine that! All that money just for talkin’.
He’s retired now, done with the football. Can’t blame him, I reckon. After 23 years, a fella deserves a rest. They’re gonna put him in some kind of Hall of Fame, which is a big deal, I guess. They’re even puttin’ him in the Patriots Hall of Fame. He played for them a long, long time and won a lot of games there. Means he’ll be remembered forever, I suppose. Good for him.
