Alright, so I wanted to mess around with some legend batting stances in MLB The Show 22. I’ve been playing this game for a while, and I always like trying to make my created players feel unique, you know?

So, I fired up the game and went straight to the “Create Player” mode. I usually spend way too much time here, tweaking every little detail.
Getting Started
First, I picked my player’s basic info – position, handedness, all that boring stuff. The real fun starts with the animations.
Finding the Legends
- I scrolled through the batting stance options. There are a TON of generic ones, but I wanted something iconic.
- Found it! There’s a separate section for “Legend” stances. Bingo!
Experimenting with Stances
This is where I spent most of my time. I tried out a bunch of different stances. Like, I went through almost all of them, one by one.
I tested Ken Griffey Jr.’s smooth swing, and It felt so cool to imitate that!
Then I tested a few more classic stances, and eventually, I settled on one that I thought looked pretty slick. I won’t bore you with the exact name, but it’s one of the older legends. It just has this classic, powerful look to it.
Final Touches
After picking the stance, I went through and customized the rest of my player’s look – uniform, gear, the works. All in all, it took me a good hour or two to get everything just right, But It is really nice to see!
I jumped into a quick game to see my new player in action. Man, it felt good to see that legendary stance at the plate! Even if I struck out a couple of times, I at least looked cool doing it, right? Anyway, that’s how I spent my evening – geeking out over batting stances in MLB The Show 22. Fun times!
