You know, that Wesley Bryan, he’s a good boy. Plays that golf game. He won some big one before, I heard. Big, big one. He’s got a whole mess of clubs in his bag. Gotta have the right tools for the job, I always say. Just like you need a good hoe for your garden.
So, this boy, Wesley Bryan, he starts with that big ol’ club, the driver. He uses that to whack the ball real far. This year he’s been using one of them…what are they called? The Callaway things. That’s a big name. It’s a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max. Sounds fancy, don’t it? He carries the Titleist GT2 driver too. Two big whackers. One time, he used them both in the same tournament. Can you believe that? That’s like having two roosters in the henhouse. All kinds of trouble, probably.
Now, he’s got some other clubs, too. Not as big as the driver. He’s got these… these fairway woods. I don’t know what they do exactly, but I reckon they help him get the ball where it needs to go. He uses them before he gets to those other ones. The ones he uses closer to the hole.
Then he’s got them irons. Lots of them irons. All different numbers on ’em. I don’t know why they need so many. Seems like a lot to carry around. Like carrying a whole bucket of rocks up a hill. He uses those for the shorter whacks, when the ball’s closer to that little hole they’re all aiming for. He has to hit it just right.
That Wesley Bryan, he sure knows how to pick his clubs. Gotta have good grips, too. He uses them Superstroke S-Tech and Golf Pride Tour Velvet ones. Them names, I tell ya. Those are what he uses to hold onto them clubs tight. Don’t want them flying out of your hands, now. Like trying to catch a greased pig at the county fair. Gotta hold on tight! Them grips keep his hands from slipping. Keeps the sweat off, I suppose. They say those grips make him feel the club better. Whatever that means.
And that putter! That’s the one he uses when the ball’s real close to the hole. He uses that blade-style putter. Just gotta tap it in. He’s got one of them fancy ones. A L.A.B putter. Says it’s got that “lie-angle balanced” thing. And a “stiff TPT shaft.” He says the shaft is important. Says it makes a difference. I don’t know about all that. Seems like a lot of fuss over a stick and a ball. Before he used that L.A.B putter, he says he didn’t know about those shafts.
I’ll list them out for ya, just so you got it straight. That Wesley Bryan, he’s got:
- That big ol’ driver, the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max. And that Titleist GT2 driver.
- Them fairway woods, whatever they are.
- A whole bunch of them irons.
- Them Superstroke S-Tech and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips.
- That fancy blade-style putter, the L.A.B. putter with the stiff shaft.
That’s a lot of stuff! More stuff than I got in my whole kitchen. But I guess he needs it all. That Wesley Bryan, he’s a good golfer. He knows what he’s doing. I don’t understand all of it, but I know he’s good. He’s won that big tournament before. You know, the PGA Tour, I think it was.
Well, I’ve rattled on long enough. Just remember that boy’s name: Wesley Bryan. He’s the one with all them clubs. And he knows how to use ’em. Gotta have the right tools. Just like in life. Like a good recipe. Gotta have all the right ingredients to make it good.
You keep that in mind now. And if you ever see that Wesley Bryan boy playin’, you tell him I said hello. I might not understand that what’s in the bag thing but I wish him luck. Good boy, that one. Good boy.
