Alright, so I decided to follow the Kansas City Royals playing against the Toronto Blue Jays this time around. Didn’t catch every single pitch, life gets busy you know, but I made sure to keep track of things.

Started off just checking the scores on my phone during breaks. Saw the first game result pop up. Okay, noted. Then I tried to catch some highlights later in the evening. Found a few clips online, watched some key plays. You get a decent feel for the game flow that way, even if you miss the live action. It’s not the same as being there or watching full innings, but it works when you’re short on time.
For the next game, I actually had a bit more time. Sat down and watched a few innings properly. It’s different when you see the plays unfold, the pitches, the swings. You notice the little things more. Saw some good defensive plays, some guys were really hustling out there. One team seemed to get the bats going pretty well for a stretch.
My Quick Takes
Throughout the series, I jotted down a few thoughts here and there. Nothing fancy, just quick notes:
- Pitching: Seemed like one team had their starters dialed in for a couple of games, kept the hitters guessing. The other team’s bullpen looked a bit shaky at times, gave up some crucial runs.
- Hitting: Saw some power displays, a few homers always liven things up. But also noticed some struggles, guys striking out looking, leaving runners stranded. That’s baseball, right? Ups and downs.
- Overall Feel: Some games felt tight, real nail-biters. Others were a bit more one-sided. Kept me interested enough to keep checking back.
Wrapping it up, it was a decent series to follow along with. Saw some good baseball, some mistakes, the usual stuff. Following the day-to-day results, catching highlights when I could, it’s a good way to stay connected with the season’s rhythm. Didn’t blow me away, but it was a solid few games to track. Just my two cents from keeping tabs on it.
