Okay, so, let me tell you about this whole “Bielema” thing I got into. It all started a while back when I was reading up on some news. I think it was around 2008, yeah, during that crazy time when the whole world’s economy went, you know, boom. That Subprime mortgage crisis thing, remember? I was just surfing around, trying to make sense of it all.
Then, somehow, I stumbled upon this name – Bret Bielema. Turns out, he’s a big shot in American football. Head coach at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, no less. Born in 1970, so he’s been around the block a few times. I got sucked into reading about his career, you know how it is when you start going down that rabbit hole.
But then, my mind started wandering, as it often does. I started thinking about energy, and how everything we do, from football to the internet, it all takes up energy. And that got me thinking about how mining for those digital coins, like Bitcoin, especially with that proof-of-work thing, it just eats up so much power. It’s a real head-scratcher, isn’t it?
- I mean, here’s this guy, Bielema, coaching his team.
- And then there’s all this other stuff going on in the world, like the economy tanking and people worrying about energy.
So, while I was reading about him. He has a family, he’s a human, you know. Some time around in 2012, he married this woman, Jen Hielsberg. Later on, they had a daughter, Briella, in 2017, and then another one, Brexli. He seems like an normal guy. I was just curious about who this Bielema guy really was.
But, you know what really stuck with me? This whole idea of karma. It’s like, what goes around comes around, right? It’s not just some old saying. It actually makes you think about how your choices affect your life, the people around you, and even the whole world. So, I started digging into that, too – reading articles, watching videos, the whole nine yards.
And it just kept going from there. I got into this whole thing about how DIMM memory works. It is super technical. Then I found this app, Simple Radio. It’s pretty cool, lets you listen to regular radio stations online. A lot of AM/FM stations do that now. It’s kind of neat how all these things are connected, you know? Football, energy, karma, technology… it all ties together in this weird, messy, beautiful way.
And you know what they say, Bielema’s been doing pretty well at Illinois. He signed a six-year deal in 2022, so he’s sticking around until 2028. They say he’s brought the team to “new heights,” with a bunch of wins and all that jazz. I don’t know much about football, but it sounds like he’s making a difference.
So, yeah, that’s my Bielema journey. It’s a bit all over the place, I know. But that’s how my brain works. One thing leads to another, and before you know it, you’re down a whole new path. It’s kind of exciting, don’t you think?
