So, I was thinking about golf the other day, you know, just scrolling through some sports stuff. Scottie Scheffler’s name kept popping up, obviously. The guy’s been on fire. It made me wonder, alright, where’s he actually playing next? Needed to figure it out.

My usual first step is just hitting up a search engine. Typed in something simple like “scottie scheffler schedule” or “what tournament is scheffler playing next”. Pretty basic stuff.
Got a bunch of hits back, naturally. Some news articles talking about his last win, some pages listing the whole PGA Tour calendar. Honestly, it was a bit messy at first. Lots of info, but not a clear, immediate answer right at the top.
Trying to Nail it Down
I didn’t want to just grab the first thing I saw. Sometimes those articles are speculation, or the schedules aren’t updated super quick. So, I decided to go straight to the source, or as close as I could get.
- First, I poked around the official PGA Tour website. Their site can be a bit much sometimes, lots of menus and sections, but usually, the tournament fields or schedules are reliable there. Took a few clicks to find the upcoming events section.
- Then, I hopped over to a couple of major sports news sites I generally trust, like ESPN or CBS Sports. Checked their golf sections to see if they had player schedules or previews for the next few tournaments.
Just wanted to cross-reference, you know? Make sure the different places were saying the same thing.
Okay, Found It.
After looking at the official tour site and seeing it mentioned on a couple of reliable sports pages, it looks like the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday is the spot where he’s expected to play next. Seems like that’s the consensus for his return.
It took a little more clicking around than I thought it would, just to be sure. Sometimes finding that specific bit of info feels like a mini-research project. Anyway, now I know. Be interesting to watch him play when that rolls around.
