Now, I ain’t never been to Dallas, Texas. Probably wouldn’t like it much. Too much hustle and bustle for an old lady like me. I like my peace and quiet, my chickens and my garden. But that Tom Kim, he’s a young fella, full of energy. He probably likes that city life. He’s probably got a big house, maybe even a fancy car. Who knows? Them city folk, they live different than us.

It’s funny how things work out, ain’t it? This young man travels all over the world, probably sees more places in a year than I have in my whole life. And he chooses to live in Dallas, Texas. It just goes to show you, life takes you to unexpected places. You never know where you’ll end up.
But I still think it’s important to remember where you come from. And I bet Tom Kim, even though he’s living the high life in Dallas, he still remembers his roots in Seoul, South Korea. He probably misses his mama’s cookin’ and the familiar faces of his childhood friends. We all do, no matter how far we go.
