So, the other day, I was just kinda scrolling through stuff, you know, fight highlights and whatnot. Jon Jones pops up, obviously, the guy’s a legend. Then it hit me, I remembered hearing somewhere he wasn’t the only athlete in his family. Like, he had brothers who were also pretty serious sportsmen.

I got curious. Who exactly are these guys? What do they even do? It bugs me when I have these half-remembered facts floating around.
So, I did what anyone would do. Grabbed my phone, opened up a browser. Didn’t even use a fancy search engine, just typed in something basic like “jon jones brothers sports”. Pretty straightforward.
Took like, five seconds. The results popped up pretty quick.
Okay, here’s what I found out:
Turns out, Jon Jones has two brothers, and yeah, they’re both serious athletes. Not MMA fighters though, which is maybe what I vaguely expected. They went the American football route.
- Arthur Jones: The older brother. He played in the NFL. Defensive tackle. Played for teams like the Ravens, Colts, Commanders. Even won a Super Bowl ring with the Ravens. That’s pretty big time.
- Chandler Jones: The younger brother. Also a beast in the NFL. Defensive end/outside linebacker. Played for the Patriots and Cardinals, Raiders too I think. Also got a Super Bowl ring, but with the Patriots. Wild, right?
Honestly, it’s kinda mind-blowing. Three brothers, all reaching the absolute top level in two different, super tough professional sports. You gotta wonder what was in the water at their house growing up. Or maybe just some seriously good genes and a whole lot of hard work, probably both.
It puts things into perspective a bit. You see Jon Jones and his dominance, but knowing his brothers achieved similar levels of success in their own field… that’s just a different level of family achievement. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
Anyway, that was my little discovery session. Just wanted to figure out who his brothers were. Now I know. Pretty cool stuff.
