Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this wrestling thing, this… uh… “WWE Super Show” they had in Johnson City, Tennessee. Yeah, that’s right, Johnson City.
What’s this WWE Super Show thing anyway?
Well, it’s like a big ol’ rasslin’ show, like the kind you see on TV but live, right there in front of ya. Lots of folks hollerin’ and cheerin’, and them big fellas thumpin’ each other. They got all the famous ones, you know, like that Cody Rhodes fella, and Seth Rollins – the one with the wild hair and laugh. And that big ol’ Gunther guy, looks like he could pull a tractor outta the mud with his bare hands.

Yeah, and those lady wrestlers too, tough as nails, they are. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and that Rhea Ripley, she’s a scary one, all tatted up and mean-lookin’. They put on a good show, them girls.
When was this thing, you ask?
This here Super Show thing, it was in Johnson City on Saturday, November 11th, 2023. Yep, last year. Don’t know why they’re tellin’ me to talk about it now, but here I am, tellin’ ya.
Where’d they have it at?
They had it at that Freedom Hall place, the Civic Center. You know, the place where they have all them concerts and shows. Big building, plenty of room for folks to sit and watch the rasslin’.
How much did it cost to get in?
Now, that’s a good question. From what I hear, the tickets weren’t too bad, dependin’ on where you sat. You could get in for as little as 15 or 20 dollars, I reckon. But if you wanted to be up close, smell the sweat and hear the bones crunchin’, well, that was gonna cost ya more. Maybe 60, maybe even a hundred dollars or more. Heck, some folks say them tickets went up to thousands of dollars, but I ain’t believin’ that. Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me. But you know how these things are, prices go up and down like a seesaw. I heard one ticket was more than $85000, crazy right?
Average ticket price? Somewhere around 60 to 120 bucks, I’d say. That’s a lot of money for watchin’ people pretend fightin’.
How long did this rasslin’ show last?
Oh, it went on for a good while. Couple of hours, maybe three. Them fellas and girls, they go at it pretty hard, you know. Lots of jumpin’ around and flippin’ and slammin’. Takes a while to get all that energy out. Usually two and a half or three hours.
What else is there to say?
Well, I don’t know much more about it. I ain’t a big rasslin’ fan myself, but my grandkid, he loves it. Always talkin’ about this wrestler and that wrestler. He went to that Super Show thing and said it was the best thing he ever saw. Kids these days, they like all that jumpin’ and shoutin’. Me? I prefer a good sit-down and a cup of coffee. The next WWE event will be December 15th, 2024 it seems. That’s all i know about it.
Tickets are still on sale?
I think you can still buy tickets for other WWE shows if you want. Just look online or ask around. I’m sure somebody knows where to get ’em. Just be ready to pay a pretty penny, especially if you want good seats.
