Well, let me tell ya ’bout this… yadong net. I ain’t no fancy computer person, ya know? But my grandson, he’s always fiddlin’ with that phone of his. Always talkin’ ’bout some “net” this and “net” that. He showed me this thing once, this “yadong net.”
First time I saw it, I thought, “What in the tarnation is this?” It’s got all sorts of stuff on it, ya know? Pictures, videos… Some of it’s kinda funny, like them cats tryin’ to jump on counters and fallin’ off. But some of it, well, it made me blush, let me tell ya! I ain’t seen things like that since… well, since never! My old man woulda had a conniption fit if he saw such things.
My grandson, he says this yadong net is where folks go to find all sorts of things. He says it’s like a big, giant market, but instead of sellin’ vegetables and chickens, they’re sellin’… well, everything! Music, movies, news… even those little fishing nets they use down by the creek.
- He showed me this one fella, Song Yadong, they say he’s worth a whole lotta money. More money than I ever seen in my life, that’s for sure. They say he’s good at fightin’ or somethin’. I dunno, all these young folks and their fancy hobbies.
- Then there’s this music, Yadong music. My grandson, he plays it sometimes. It’s all noisy, not like the good ol’ country songs we used to listen to on the radio. But the young folks, they seem to like it. They play it on their phones and tap their feet. I just don’t get it.
And this yadong net, it ain’t just for fun and games, ya know? My grandson says folks use it for work too. They do business on it, sell their crafts, talk to each other from far away. It’s like the whole world is crammed into that little phone of his. It’s kinda mind-boggling if ya think about it too hard.
I tried to understand it, I really did. But it’s all so fast and complicated. There are buttons and links and all sorts of things poppin’ up all over the place. It makes my head spin just lookin’ at it. I’m more of a hands-on kinda gal, ya know? I like feelin’ the dirt in my hands, smellin’ the fresh air, hearin’ the birds singin’. Not all this beepin’ and boopin’ from that little box.
But I guess that’s just the way the world is goin’ now. Everything’s on this “net” thing. My grandson even pays his bills on it! Can ya believe that? Back in my day, we paid with cash, face-to-face. Now, it’s all just numbers on a screen. It makes me wonder where it’s all gonna end.
One thing’s for sure, though, this yadong net, it’s powerful stuff. It can bring people together, but it can also keep ‘em apart. It can teach ya things, but it can also show ya things ya probably shouldn’t see. It’s like a double-edged sword, ya know? Sharp on both sides. You gotta be careful with it, that’s what I say.
Anyways, that’s all I know ’bout this yadong net. It’s a big ol’ mystery to me, but the young folks seem to have it figured out. Maybe one day I’ll understand it too. But until then, I’ll just stick to my garden and my chickens. At least I know how they work!
So yeah, that’s my take on this here yadong net. It’s a whole new world out there, and I’m just tryin’ to keep up. It ain’t easy, but I’m doin’ my best. And who knows, maybe one of these days I’ll even figure out how to use that thing myself. But don’t hold your breath!
